Kodak Tri-X 400 35mm Film Review

Here is our Kodak Tri-X 400 35mm Film Review. We shot a roll on our Hasselblad X-Pan. So, have a look at our film test and see what you think.

Kodak Tri-X has been around since the 1940s. And has been available in  35mm since 1954. One of the most popular black and white films on the market. We can safely say Tri-X is a classic.  We wanted to see what results we got when developing it in Tetenal Paranol S. So, we put a roll of Kodak Tri-X in the Hasselblad X-Pan and took it out around South London.

We found the Paranol S to complement Tri-X well. As expected, we got really good contrast, alongside a nice range of tones. Despite it’s classic rough grain, it holds on to plenty of detail.
