Tam Joseph, born in Dominica in 1947, is without doubt an accomplished painter, illustrator, graphic artist, printmaker and sculptor. Joseph came to London at the age of eight and studied the Foundation Course at the Central School of Art London in 1967, followed by the BA in Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine Art but quit the Course after a few months and began his 1960s whirlwind nomadic tour of Europe, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan Pakistan & India.
