Café Royal Books Delivery
The post arrived today and with it our first Café Royal Books delivery.
These are the first items to go into our Books section on the website. We thought they were a good place to start our selection of photography books, magazines and zines. We will cover new, emerging photographers as well as some of the classic photobooks. We are also planning to stock self-published photobooks and zines.
Here’s what was inside our Café Royal Books parcel:
Slightly Unusual – David Levenson
Momentum Series – Alejandro Guijarro
The Tetley Archive – Craig Atkinson
The Royal Wedding London 1981 – David Williams
Archaeology of a Carpet – Stephen McCoy
Due to the sheer volume of quality photobooks Cafe Royal publish, we will regularly choose a selection of our favourites to share with you. This time we picked Slightly Unusual and The Royal Wedding London 1981, for their social documentary in a classic British style. Momentum Series and Archaeology of a Carpet present more abstract approaches to photography. While The Tetley Archive is a great use of archive images.
