Independent Photography Festival 2017
The Independent Photography Festival (I.P.F) describes itself as “an annual, multi-city celebration of photography, its application and practice”.
This edition of I.P.F London will run from 4-28 May with a schedule of great shows.
Originally from Melbourne, I.P.F was set up to offer a new platform for photographers and photo enthusiasts, both emerging and established, to showcase their work. To date, they’ve had 5 annual programmes, with over 50 events in five cities across three continents, and have worked with more than 500 photographers worldwide.
The main event is the I.P.F Photo Prize, a salon-style competition. It brings together the work of professional photographers, beginners, and hobbyists. The I.P.F. Photo Prize opening night will take place on the 4th of May, 6-10pm at House of Vans. Entrants also have the possibility of picking up a bunch of great prizes. Win the People’s Choice Award and you’ll land yourself some Parallax Photographic vouchers!
Don’t miss your opportunity. Submissions for the I.P.F Photo Prize 2017 are open until 24 April 2017.
The Photo Prize will open the program of solo and group exhibitions, screenings and workshops across a range of London’s independent spaces and galleries from 4-27 May 2017. You can see the full list of events here and get involved. We’ve listed a few exhibitions to check out:
