PYLOT Open Call 2018

PYLOT Open Call 2018

PYLOT Open Call 2018 is open to all photographers shooting film. It gives you the chance to be part of an exciting group exhibition at Free Range 2018.

The PYLOT Open Call 2018 follows the theme of PYLOT Magazine’s most recent release, “The Autonomy Issue”. They are looking for photographers to submit “bodies of work that are based on decisions that we make in life”. They question whether we are “are we guided by the signals and cues that surround us, or are we autonomous in our decision-making?”

Successful entries will be selected for a group exhibition at Free Range 2018 with images printed on Fujifilm paper by theprintspace. There are also prizes from CineStill FilmStackIndustry ArtPYLOT, and us, Parallax Photographic Coop, up for grabs.

The submissions will be judged by Marco Santucci, Cheryl Newman, and Max Barnett and Patricia Villirillo from PYLOT Magazine. The exhibition will take place in Free Range Photography Week between 21st-25th June, with over 5000 expected visitors over the course of the five days. Three photographers will be awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. The top three photographers will also have their portfolios reviewed by Marco Santucci, founder of Industry Art, one of London’s leading creative agencies.
