PYLOT Open Call 2019
PYLOT Open Call 2019 is looking for submissions from photographers shooting film. You get the chance to be part of an exciting group exhibition at Free Range 2019 at The Truman Brewery.
This year PYLOT Open Call 2019 follows the theme “COMBATTING WASTE; OUR STEPS TOWARDS A MORE ECO-CONSCIOUS SOCIETY”. They want photographers to submit bodies of work that highlight current issues around the theme of waste and sustainability.
A handful of successful submissions will be chosen for a group exhibition at Free Range 2019. With Digitalab printing all the images on Fujifilm paper. Plus, there are prizes from Kodak Alaris, PYLOT, and us, Parallax Photographic Coop, up for grabs.
The judges this year are Max Barnett and Patricia Villirillo from PYLOT Magazine. Alongside Max Ferguson, a photographic editor working across Port Magazine, Splash & Grab and FT Magazine. As well as Izabela Radwanska Zhang, Assistant Editor of The British Journal of Photography.
The exhibition will take place in Free Range Photography Week between 20 and 25 June, where more than 5000 visitors are expected over the course of the five days. Three photographers will be awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. The top three photographers will also each have a portfolio review with Max Ferguson and Radwanska Zhang.
