Ilford Multigrade Paper Developer 1L

Ilford Multigrade is a liquid concentrate paper developer. It is suitable to use with any black and white photographic paper. However, it is specially made to get the best possible results from the Ilford Multigrade range of papers.

Multigrade developer has an excellent shelf life. It will give you a neutral image tone with most darkroom papers. So, ideal when you use the Classic range of Multigrade papers.

Multigrade Paper Developer is also available in 5L bottles.

How To Use

As it is a concentrate, you dilute it to make a working solution. To prepare Multigrade Paper Developer, dilute 1+9. That means one part Multigrade to nine parts water. It will also work well at 1+14. So one part developer to nine parts water. This option will give you greater development control. As well as make the concentrate go further. Make sure you mix together thoroughly before use.
