SAUL LEITER and PAUL AUSTER It Don’t Mean A Thing

Black-and-white and colour photographs by Leiter from 1947 through the 1970s—with many images never before published—are paired with Auster’s tale of interlinked life events and chance encounters. Reflections on New York City, its urban rhythm, people and places, feature prominently in both artists’ work and provide a unifying focus for the book.

The Gould Collection

The Gould Collection is a series of books to honour Christophe Crison, a photobook collector from Paris who died prematurely in 2015 at age forty-five.

With a strong interest in Japanese cinema and photography, Chris Marker films and American literature, Christophe was a tireless advocate and supporter of many artists and writers. Under his online name Gould Bookbinder (the protagonist in two of Stephen Dixon’s novels), he actively posted images and links to articles about photography, film and literature.

The photographers and writers showcased throughout the series are artists whose works Christophe admired.
