Fomapan 200 35mm Film 36 Exposures
Fomapan 200 35mm Film is an excellent budget choice. One of the cheapest films we sell and one of the few 200 ISO black and white films on the market. A medium speed, medium contrast film, it is particularly good in favourable light conditions. Overall, it is a reliable and affordable choice for most photography styles.
Fomapan 200 is a 200 ISO film. You can expect negatives with a slight softness and a small amount of visible grain under most lighting conditions.
Additionally, Fomapan 200 35mm film will respond well to push and pull processing. We have found Fomapan is usable up to 800 ISO. This increases both the contrast and grain of the film. Find out more about push processing in our Guide To Pushing And Pulling Film.

Parallax Photographic Coop –
Fomapan 200 is commonly understood to be a different emulsion to the 100 and 400 ISO versions. It has a more balanced contrast and grain structure than the 100 and 400 ISO with a nice complete range of tones. Often overlooked, this is a good budget alternative to its more popular rivals.
Ray Rapkerg –
This is a nice film that produces classic looking results. Great value for money. Historically very interesting, too, because it is basically a Soviet-era film. A lot of those iconic Soviet propaganda shots were taken on film similar to this. Its biggest weakness, I find, is that it scratches easily. The emulsion is really soft. So you need to take care when developing it. The look is quite mild, so if you want a bit more punchiness, don’t be afraid to give it longer development – and/or try exposing at ISO 160.
