Stock solution will last 6 months in full stoppered bottles, and 2 months in part full bottles.

This pack will make 3.8 litres of Kodak Dektol Paper Developer stock solution. Always make up the developer stock solution to the volume stated on the pack. Do not attempt to prepare smaller quantities by using fractional parts of powder.

How To Use

As it is a powder, you dilute it to make a stock solution first. To prepare Kodak Dektol Paper Developer stock, dissolve the contents in warm water. Stir until the powder has dissolved. Allow this to cool to room temperature, then the developer is then ready to use. Store in a tightly capped bottle until needed for use.

To use Kodak Dektol you dilute the stock solution 1+2. That means one part stock solution to two parts water. Prepare the working solution from the stock solution directly before it is needed. Always make sure you mix together thoroughly before use.
