Adox CMS 20 II Film Review

Here is our Adox CMS 20 II Film Review. We shot a roll on our Leica M6. So, have a look at our film test and see what you think.

Adox CMS 20 II is the slowest film we sell. We wanted to see if it really was as sharp as it claimed. So, we put a roll in the Leica M6 and took it out around Great Yarmouth.

We knew we would develop it in Adotech, made specially for this film. This meant we could rate it at 20 ISO. If you’re going to use a standard developer Adox recommend a rating of 3-6. Luckily for us it was a bright day and we got away with shooting it hand held.

We like the film. It is very sharp. With well defined detail, including at the edges. The mid tones are spot on and it holds the highlights well.
