Rollei Delivery

We’re happy to announce the arrival of our first Rollei delivery this week. And with it, a load of new products.

Although Rollei is better known for their cameras, they do have a range of film available too. German company Hans O. Mahn distribute these under the Rollei name. While not so well known, these films do offer some interesting alternatives to the mainstream choices. All the new arrivals come in 35mm and 120 formats. (Rollei Retro 80S 120 is currently out of stock with our supplier, but we will have it as soon as we can.)

Rollei RPX 25, 100 and 400 are classic black and white emulsions with fine grain and great sharpness. Reliable all-rounders at a good price.

Rollei Superpan 200, Rollei Retro 80S and Retro 400S all derive from the old Agfa Aviphot aerial surveillance film. As technical films, they produce a noticeably different look to regular emulsions.

Rollei Infrared 400 is a true infrared film. It will work best with filters. Different filters will produce different tonal ranges, so lots of room to experiment.

As well as the film, we also got the Rollei Black Magic VC Photo Emulsion RBM3. A variable contrast, liquid photographic emulsion. Alongside the Black Magic Gelatine RBM4 and Black Magic Hardener RBM5, you can create photographic prints on a wide variety of materials and surfaces.
