Adox Color Implosion 35mm is an experimental film made to give you truly unpredictable analogue images. It has visible grain and light colours that desaturate. You can’t mistake Colour Implosion images for digital photos. This film is not meant to be a “proper” film.
Colour Implosion has the grain of an 800 ISO film but with the speed of a 100 ISO film. On top of this, Adox pre-treated it so the colour coupling system partially collapsed. This sure isn’t a film for the purists.
If you develop at a lab, make sure you tell them this film won’t look like a normal film. They may adjust scans and prints to reduce the effect of the film if they aren’t familiar with it!
Note Adox films do not have DX codes on the canister so you need to be able to manually set your ISO.
