Fotospeed LD20 Lith Developer 2x500ml

Fotospeed LD20 Lith Developer is a two-part concentrate liquid Lith developer. You dilute these two parts make a single working solution of developer. This kit can be used with both film and paper.

A lith print is a black and white darkroom print that has been overexposed and developed in a Lith film developer. This will yield print tones that are impossible to achieve without toning. You can expect Lith prints to have soft, warm toned highlights and mid-tones, with cool, harsh shadows.

Foma Fomatone MG paper is a good place to start if you are new to Lith printing. It will react well to the developer.

LD20 comes with full instructions for lith printing and includes suppressants for pepper fogging. For typical Lith prints, where further dilution is required, this kit will make 10L of working solution.

It will keep for at least two years in unopened bottles. Once opened the contents should be used within two months.

How To Use

Fotospeed LD20 Lith Developer comes in two-parts; A and B. There is 500ml of each concentrate. Dilute each 1+3 with water. That is one part concentrate to three parts water. You then mix the two parts together to form the working solution. For a lith printing, you should dilute the working solution further to achieve the effect of grittiness and tint you desire.
