Ilford Multigrade FB Classic Paper Matt 12×16 50 Sheets is a high-quality fibre based darkroom paper. This is a paper designed for printing in a traditional black and white darkroom. Its heavyweight fibre base gives your prints a luxurious feel.
This particular paper comes in a matt finish. Giving it a smooth, clean and natural looking surface without the shine of glossy surface. It also has a white base colour and will give a neutral image tone to your image.
Multigrade FB Classic gives you rich, deep black as well as excellent tonal rendition. In addition to producing the superb quality you expect from Ilford photographic papers, it is very versatile and incredibly easy to work with. It is also well suited to toning, chemical reduction and retouching techniques.
Ilford Multigrade is a variable contrast paper, which means that it is possible to get the full range of contrast from your negatives. Simply use in conjunction with a multigrade enlarger and you can print from grade 00 through to 5. If used without any filters on your enlarger, it equates to approximately grade 2 or 3.
Ilford Multigrade FB Classic Paper Matt is available in a range of sizes from 5×7, to 8×10 and up to 20×24. We can also order it in even larger roll sizes if you need.
