Ilford Multigrade Resin Coated Portfolio Paper Glossy 4×6 100 Sheets is a high-quality black and white darkroom paper. This is a paper designed for printing in a traditional black and white darkroom.

This is a double-weight resin coated paper with a 255gsm base. So it has the quality of a fibre base paper, yet retains the ease and convenience of a resin coated paper.

This paper no longer has the postcard markings on the back.

Multigrade Paper

Originally released in 1940, Ilford’s Multigrade paper has evolved over the years and become the go-to choice when it comes to resin coated paper. It’s perfect for beginners and professionals alike.

This particular paper comes in a glossy finish. Giving it a smooth surface that will boost contrast and make black tones pop and whites shine. It also has a bright white base colour and will give a neutral image tone to your images.

Ilford Multigrade is a variable contrast paper, which means that it is possible to get the full range of contrast from your negatives. Simply use in conjunction with a multigrade enlarger and you can print from grade 00 through to 5. If used without any filters on your enlarger, it equates to approximately grade 2 or 3.
