Description

Rollei Superpan 200 35mm Film 36 Exposures

Rollei Superpan 200 35mm Film is a high-speed black and white negative film with a nominal sensitivity of ISO 200/24°. This is a high-performance film. And will really demonstrate this with its reliability in conditions with poor light.

Although already a high-speed, it can increase to ISO 400/27 if you push it. In other words, Superpan 200 is a real all-rounder! Another special feature is its infrared range, which will extend up to 750 nm. With an appropriate filter, you can produce creative effects.

Among the features of Rollei Superman 200 are a PET 100 microns film base; crystal-clear, anti-halation layer in the emulsion; 200 ISO plus/minus 1 stop; as well as, red sensitivity up to 750 nm. Not to mention that you can achieve a complete stop more at the same or even higher resolution; over 180 lp/mm; extra-fine grain, as well as a great maximum density and tone reproduction; good exposure latitude (between 125 and 250 ISO); good for push/pull processing; optimum flatness; transparent = ideal for scans and as a slide.

You can check out our Rollei Superpan film reviews. We have tried both the 35mm and 120.

2 reviews for Rollei Superpan 200 35mm Film 36 Exposures

  1. Parallax Photographic Coop

Fomapan 200 is commonly understood to be a different emulsion to the 100 and 400 ISO versions. It has a more balanced contrast and grain structure than the 100 and 400 ISO with a nice complete range of tones. Often overlooked, this is a good budget alternative to its more popular rivals.

  2. Ray Rapkerg

Notice how Fomapan 200 claims to be “the only 200 ISO black and white film on the market”? Wrong! Rollei Superpan 200 is here to beat Fomapan at its own game. Rollei Superpan 200 is simply a more advanced product, because it is Agfa film rather than retro Soviet film. Rollei Superpan 200 has fantastic tonality, medium contrast, scans really well … it’s just an excellent all-round film. It is easy to shoot with, and easy to load into a reel for developing (because it has a polyester base rather than an acetate base). The price is fantastic considering the quality. The only problem is that supply can be a bit intermittent. Get it while you can, I say.
