SAM CAPRON 13 Ways of Looking at a Blackbird is a self-published zine.

13 Ways of Looking as a Blackbird, takes its name from the Wallace Stevens poem of the same name. Shot in the 6 days preceding the first national lockdown in March of 2020, explores the artists own journey in overcoming both artistic self-doubt and isolation.
Touching on themes of doubt and solitude, this zine documents the importance of friendship against the backdrop of global social restrictions.
The work is dedicated in its entirety to the friends and family whose support helped make this work possible, and Wendy, without whom this book likely would not have materialised at all.
