This a different view of the city of Istanbul, with a focus on how it feels to be in a city drawn between modern culture and traditions. Moreover, it sheds light on the present situation away from the sights and the tourists, on a city separated by the Bosphorus, and divided into two continents. This book captures Tim’s perception of Istanbul from an outside perspective.

The images convey a melancholic and timeless feel, which is strengthened by the choice of black and white photographs and a special type of uncoated paper.
