Here is our Third Kodak Ultramax 400 Film Review. We shot a roll on our Kodak Snapic A1 along the Kent coast. So, have a look at our film test and see what you think.
We have already given this Kodak camera a test run with some T-Max and were impressed with the results. Next up, we wanted to give it a go with some colour film to see what kind of images the wide-angle glass lens produced. So, we loaded up some Ultramax 400 and took it out on a walk along the Kent coast.
Colour Snapics
As mentioned in our previous review, the Snapic A1 is fun to use! Responsive, solid, and super light. It comes with a little pouch to keep it protected when you chuck it in your bag, plus a long strap so you can wear it around your neck and always have it to hand. Perfect for a day by the sea.
The windy day was overcast with bursts of bright sun; Kodak Ultramax handled both well. You get strong colours in the bright sun, with softer tones under the clouds. Both situations produced nice, nostalgic-looking images. Ultramax isn’t oversaturated, but has a good amount of contrast without losing detail in the highlights or shadows.
If you’re looking to take some photos this holiday, the Snapic and Ultramax make a great combo!
