Ilford HP5 Plus 400 is one of the most popular black and white films around. A film you can rely on in any situation. So, we put a roll of Ilford HP5 Plus 400 120 in our Fuji GA645i and took it out around Camberwell in South London.
Ilford HP5 is always a safe bet. You can’t really go wrong with it.
We got a really good range of tones. It retains a lot of shadow detail. This being medium format it held a great amount of detail.
Because Ilford HP5 has a classic grain structure, it has a real film look to it.
Ultimately, this is a safe, reliable film. And, these images came out exactly as we expected.
