Solargraphy

Solargraphy is a long exposure on light-sensitive material. It will capture the path of the sun over time. The image is made with a pinhole camera and photographic darkroom paper. There is no need for any chemicals, as the small amount of light coming through the pinhole creates the image. So, why not pick up a Solarcan and try it out yourself?

Tips and Tricks

Each Solarcan comes with an instruction booklet that has plenty of tips about where to place your can. Also, it will tell you how to get the best out of it. Finally, there is plenty of information on how to make the most of your scan when you are ready to open your can.

Remember, these are the opposite of instant images. The longer you leave the exposure, the more interesting the image will be.

Pinhole Photography

Instead of a lens, Solarcans use a pinhole to capture the image. The most basic form of a camera. Learn more about shooting pinhole in our Guide to Pinhole Photography.
