Adox Silvermax 100 35mm Film 36 Exposures
Adox Silvermax 100 35mm is a black and white film with more silver than regular negative films. The increased silver content gives you maximum detail from the brightest highlights to the deepest shadows. It also features extremely fine grain and incredible sharpness.
Silvermax is also well suited to reversal processing due to its clear triacetate base. You can reversal process it yourself at home with the Foma Reversal Kit. It is the same film stock as the Adox PanX Reverso Super8 film.
You can develop Silvermax in almost any developer with good results. There is a dedicated Silvermax developer which is formulated to fit perfectly and get the most out of the extra silver content. In conventional developers, results will be close to those of the old Agfa APX 100.
Note Adox films do not have DX codes on the canister so you need to be able to manually set your ISO.
We shot some Silvermax on a Contax T3. You can check out the film review here.
