Fomafix P Fixer 1L
Fomafix P Fixer is a powder acid fixer, suitable for all film and paper. As it is a powder developer, it is light and easy to travel with. Making it is easy and convenient to use.
This pack will make 750ml of fixer working solution for film and 1 litre for paper. That is enough to fix up to 15 films.
Fomafix P packs contain two parts. Always make up the developer stock solution to the volume stated on the pack. Do not attempt to prepare smaller quantities by using fractional parts of each powder.
How To Use
As it is a powder, you dilute it to make a stock solution first. To prepare Fomafix P Fixer stock, dissolve the contents of the larger bag in 600ml of warm water at about 40ºC. Stir until the powder has dissolved. Then continue to stir, while gradually adding the contents of the smaller bag. Keep stirring until no more powder dissolves. Add 150ml water to make up 750ml for film developing and stir. Alternatively, add 400ml water to make up 1 litre for processing paper. Allow this to cool to room temperature, then the developer is then ready to use. Store in a tightly capped bottle until needed for use.
