Tetenal Superfix Tabs 20 x 150ml
Tetenal Superfix Tabs are fixer in tablet form. Superfix is a non-hardening rapid fixer. Ideal for both film and paper. For use in both trays and developing tanks.
As a powder developer in tab form, these are light and easy to travel with. In particular, they are good if you process film intermittently. Tabs have a very long shelf life. So you can mix them up as you want to use them and not worry about expired chemistry.
Superfix Tabs will make approximately 3L of film fixer and 4.5L of paper fixer. Each tub contains 20 tabs, and each tab will make 150ml of working fix.
How To Use
Simply put the Superfix tab into warm water. Then, stir until fully dissolved. The tabs will dissolve more quickly in warmer water. Keep in mind you will then need to let the diluted solution cool down to approximately 20°C before you use it.
If you are mixing up film fix, then use 1 tab for each 150ml solution you need. So, if you need 300ml of fixer, mix up 2 tabs.
However, if you are mixing up paper fix, then use 1 tab for each 225ml of solution. So, 2 tabs will give you 450ml of paper fix.
