Ilford Rapid Fixer 1L

Ilford Rapid Fixer 1L is a non-hardening rapid fixer. Ideal for both film and paper. This is a liquid concentrate that you dilute with water for use. Making it is easy and convenient to use.

It will work well in the temperature range of 18-40ºC (66-104ºF) to fix black and white film and paper in all manual and machine processing applications.

The fixing agent in Rapid Fixer is ammonium thiosulphate. It contains no sodium thiosulphate (hypo).

Ilford Rapid Fixer is also available in 500ml and 5L bottles.

 

How To Use

To fix film, dilute Ilford Rapid Fixer 1+4. That means one part fix to four parts water. For paper, you need to dilute it 1+9. So one part fixer to nine parts water. Make sure you mix together thoroughly before use.
