Description

Lomography Lomochrome Purple XR 100-400 110 Film

Lomography Lomochrome Purple XR 100-400 110 Film is a delicate balance of the finest photon reactive silver halide crystals. This formula is made of an exquisite fusion of special colour compounds that will yield tones that flourish and fade. Use it to craft a heady blend of earthy reds, crisp plums and velvety violet notes.

The second batch of 2019 Lomochrome Purple Film is available in limited quantities of 35mm and 120 formats, as well as pre-loaded in a Reusable Camera. So, get it while you can.

Colourful Hues

This Lomochrome Purple formula has got a high sensitivity to red hues, improved exposure at the recommended setting of 400 ISO, and less grain than its predecessor.

You can explore the colour spectrum like you never have before. Blue becomes green, green becomes purple, yellow becomes pink. Red tones stay red, which will keep skin colours natural in a sea of trippy tones.

Aside from its remarkable colour quality, the New LomoChrome Purple will deliver vibrant photos with superb sharpness — and now with even finer grain than ever before! This new film also allows you to shoot in any weather condition and achieve breathtaking effects without using any special filters.

Film Sensitivity

Control the colour changes in your photos by selecting different ISO settings. Green tones will become a shiny purple when you use an ISO 100 setting, but with an ISO 400 setting greens will instead become a darker indigo. Explore unlimited colour creativity.

The sensitivity of the film is ISO 400. Yet its high flexibility in terms of light sensitivity will also allow you to set your camera to ISO 200 and ISO 100. You get more options for experimentation in different lighting conditions.

The New LomoChrome Purple should be developed with the standard C-41 process. The storage temperature for this film is 20 °C. To extend the life of the film, we recommend storing it in the fridge, under 10°C. Don’t expose the film to temperatures above 30°C for long periods.

110 Format

If you have never come across the 110 format. It is a cartridge-based film format made by Kodak in the 1970’s. 110 produces tiny negatives, each frame is only 13 mm × 17 mm! There are 24 frames per cartridge. You can usually pick up 110 cameras cheap because the film can be hard to find.
